Physical Education
As part of the Olympic Legacy, the Government announced in March 2013, that it was going to make funding available to all primary schools for a period of 2 years to provide specialist sport’s teaching and a programme of in-service training for all KS1 and KS2 staff. The aim of this project is to improve the quality and breadth of PE, Sports provision and participation, so that all children are encouraged from a young age to develop healthy life-styles and reach the performance levels they are capable of; as well as to help create a culture in this country, where people play and enjoy sport and physical activity throughout their lives.
