The Leaf Trust
Wheatfield is currently a Local Authority Maintained school run by South Gloucestershire Council. In October / November 2022 the school ran a consultation with all stakeholders (staff, families and the local community) to seek views on Wheatfield converting to become an academy under a newly formed, primary only Trust (The Leaf Trust). The outcomes of this consultation were scrutinised by our Governing Body and in January 2023 they voted unanimously to convert to an academy under The Leaf Trust. The aim is for the conversion to be completed by September 2023.
