All about the Moon

The moon is a celestial body that orbits the Earth. Also, the Earth orbits its old pal (the Moon). Without the Moon, there wouldn't be any waves, which means no surfing, and no lunar eclipse , solar eclipse, Total Solar Eclipse, Partial Solar Eclipse, Annular Solar Eclipse, Hybrid Solar Eclipse, Total Lunar Eclipse, Partial Lunar Eclipse and Penumbral Lunar Eclipse. The first phase of the Moon is the New moon after that it is the waxing crescent :

  • first quarter Moon.
  • waxing gibbous Moon.
  • full Moon.
  • waning gibbous Moon.
  • last quarter Moon.
  • waning crescent Moon.

We also learnt that the moon takes approximately 28 day's for it to do the complete orbit around our home planet -Earth-.

That's all on the moon for now. Lets move onto another feature of space!!

This is a full moon.
